Licensing & Age Policy

Aura Tunbridge Wells is a licensed venue and we take age verification, safety and responsible entry seriously. Please read this policy carefully before visiting.

1. Age Restriction

Aura is strictly 18+ for standard nightclub entry and ticketed club nights, unless a specific event is clearly advertised as having different age requirements.

Proof of age is required if requested by security or management.

2. Accepted ID

Guests must bring valid, original photo ID.

Accepted forms of ID:

  • Passport
  • UK photocard driving licence
  • PASS-accredited proof of age card

Important:

  • No ID scanners are in place
  • Fake IDs will be confiscated
  • Guests unable to prove their age will be refused entry
  • Photocopies, screenshots and expired IDs are not accepted

3. Search Policy

For the safety of all guests and staff:

  • Bags may be searched
  • Pat-down searches may be required
  • Refusal to comply may result in entry being refused
  • Prohibited items may be confiscated

4. Last Entry

Last entry is 2:30am.
Guests arriving after last entry time may be refused entry, even if they hold a valid booking or ticket, unless otherwise stated by the venue or event organiser.

5. Dress Code

Our dress code is grown and sexy.

Not permitted:

  • Ripped jeans
  • Shorts
  • Tracksuits

Hoodies and hats are allowed, provided they are worn as part of a stylish, appropriate outfit.

Security reserves the right to refuse entry if clothing is not suitable for the venue or event.

6. Responsible Service

Aura promotes responsible alcohol service. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who is:

  • Intoxicated
  • Aggressive or abusive
  • Causing a disturbance
  • Attempting to purchase alcohol for minors
  • In breach of venue rules

7. Event Exceptions

Occasionally, Aura may host special events with different age rules, such as family-friendly or daytime sessions. These will always be clearly advertised in advance, and separate entry conditions may apply.
